    Ghost guns are unserialized, untraceable firearms assembled by lay people at their own homes. Their prevalence has grown considerably over the past few years, attracting concerns about their legality and impact on public safety. As discussions about ghost guns migrate to the public sphere, this webinar intends to help the public navigate the conversation by discussing the following:

    • What are ghost guns,
    • Ghost gun prevalence,
    • Current ghost gun regulation,
    • Ongoing police response to ghost guns, and
    • The potential impact of ghost guns on public safety.

Today, NPF continues to advance the impact and delivery of police services through reform, advancements and enhancements. The NPF also works with communities across the United States and internationally to provide research, training, and technical assistance relating to community engagement and problem solving; promoting safety and healthy organizations and officers; the reduction and prevention of violence; and equitable and fair justice for all.  In addition to designing, conducting, and evaluating controlled experiments, NPF also provides a range of services to local public safety agencies that includes training, technical assistance, management analyses and planning.
