Marc Meole is the Sales Director for the CrimeTracer solution at SoundThinking. Marc has been working the CrimeTracer team for 5 years. Previously he has worked closely with the public safety community delivering law enforcement technology for over 20 years. His primary focus has been delivering advanced tools and strategies to increase effectiveness of the law enforcement throughout the country.  Marc is based in central Connecticut.

Sergeant David Helms grew up in Deer Park, New York. After relocating to Houston in 2005, David graduated from the Houston Police Department Academy in 2006. He was assigned to a tactical unit from 2007-2012 where his time on the streets led to his later work in investigations.

He promoted to sergeant of police in 2012 where he was assigned to the Robbery Division. In 2016, he was selected to join FBI Violent Crime Task Force. David has become a subject matter expert on bank robbery and armored car robberies, having responded to more than 300 robbery incidents. In 2019, David was awarded the FBI Director’s Award for his role in investigating a serial armored car crew that killed multiple people.

In 2021, David joined the ATF Crime Gun Strike Force where he focused on commercial business robberies.  His time spent spent at the ATF was instrumental in his development as an investigator and lifelong partnerships were forged.

​In late 2022, David returned to the FBI Violent Crime Task Force where he continues to investigate what he calls his life’s work – investigating armored car and bank robberies.

Todd Reichert is a Customer Success Director for the CrimeTracer program at Sound Thinking.  Prior to his current position, Todd started his law enforcement career as a police officer for Carrollton, Texas.  Todd left Carrollton to accept a Special Agent position with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).  Todd served as an ATF Agent for 25 years and served in the Chicago Field Division, the Nashville Field Division, Washington DC Headquarters and retired as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Houston Field Division.  Todd spent most of his career working intra and interstate firearms trafficking investigations.  Todd retired in 2015 to accept a position as Administrator for the second Texas Anti Gang Center (TAG) in Irving, Texas.  The TAG’s are a HIDTA concept program with a focus on criminal street gangs and violent crime.  Todd is based in Houston, Texas.

Joel Ste. Marie is the Director of CrimeTracer Solutions (formerly COPLINK) for SoundThinking, Inc.  As a career law enforcement technologist, strategist, and evangelist, he has spent the last quarter century advocating for law enforcement effectiveness and officer safety through the use of advanced technologies.

After starting his law enforcement career at a small Washington State agency in the late 90’s, Mr. Ste. Marie moved on to develop and lead high-performance technical teams, comprised mainly of fellow former police officers, in the mobile data, CAD/RMS, link analysis and data sharing solution spaces.  He has held leadership positions at startup companies such as Cerulean Technology (now Caliber Pubilc Safety) Total Computer Group (now CentralSquare) and VisionTek, Inc.  He gained mid-tier experience at i2 Inc. (now Harris Computer) and more recently, led technical presales teams at one of the largest technology companies in the world as a Law Enforcement Business Unit Executive at IBM.

Mr. Ste. Marie joined SoundThinking after their acquisition of the Forensic Logic/COPLINK business in 2021 and continues his commitment to building world-class Presales, Training, and Customer Success teams as the business continues to evolve and grow across the country.
