A need clearly exists for the corrections and healthcare communities to share healthcare data. A challenge many corrections officials face concerns providing adequate healthcare to inmates. This challenge is exacerbated by difficulties in collecting health-related information from inmates and sharing that data with the corrections system. Also lacking is the data sharing between corrections entities and the healthcare community.

In this panel discussion featuring experts from Mission Critical Partners, including subject-matter experts Dave Usery and Todd Crandell, we explore the following:

    • Why the ability to share timely and accurate inmate health-related data is vitally important
    • Solutions to bridge the corrections and healthcare/public health domain
    • The benefits of implementation
    • How to begin a corrections-to-health initiative and funding options
