Sandra Shanahan

Sandra Shanahan is the Program Manager of the newly formed Regional Domestic Violence Firearms Enforcement Unit which is comprised of Prosecutors, Law Enforcement, a Firearms Coordinator, Advocate, Paralegal, Court Order Problem Solver and Law Enforcement based Data Technician.   Prior to this position she managed the Protection Order Advocacy Program (POAP) in the Domestic Violence Unit of the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office from 2002 to 2017.  Before managing the POAP program she worked as an advocate there from 1998 to 2002.  Sandra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work.
