Roxanne Kotzebue has a B.S. from UC San Diego and a M.S. from San Diego State University.  Since 2014, she has been a Criminalist with the San Diego Police Department Forensic Biology Unit, performing both DNA analysis and Y-screen on sexual assault, homicide, assault, and property crime cases.
