Ron Mueller

Ron Mueller is a Crime Laboratory Analyst Supervisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He supervises the Crime Scene and Latent Print sections in Fort Myers, Florida. Before FDLE, he was the supervisor of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Forensics Unit. He has a total of 21 years in law enforcement. Ron has earned two bachelor’s degrees from Florida Gulf Coast University in criminal justice and criminal forensic studies. He has also earned a Master’s degree from Saint Leo University in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic science. He is certified in Crime Scene Investigation, Footwear Examination, and Latent Print Examination from the International Association for Identification. He is an adjunct instructor at Florida Gulf Coast University where he instructs on Crime Scene Photography, Latent Print Examination/Development, and other criminal justice courses. He is the Chairmen of the Board of the Florida Division of the International Association for Identification. He has also given many presentations and training seminars to colleagues at international conferences, symposiums, and training events.
