Noemi Elizalde

Noemi Elizalde is a victim advocate currently working for the Santa Cruz County Attorney’s Office who specializes in creating best practice systems for rural communities. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2013 in Public Management and policy, she was able to work in the field of serving victims and the community. For a decade she has provided emotional support, helping victims with safety plans, finding resources, and becoming informed about healthy relationships. While providing victim advocacy, she coordinated and facilitated several multidisciplinary task forces for Sant Cruz County, Arizona such as the: Sexual Assault Response Team, Safe Home Network, and the first Family Safety Center Advisory board. She took on the lead along with other community members to create the first Nogales Family Safety Center having the availability of forensic interviews and forensic medical exams locally within the Sheriff’s office.
