Michael Phillips

Michael “Mike” Phillips has provided 45 years of thought leadership addressing large-scale data integration and sharing solutions for numerous notable public and private sector clients. Mr. Phillips has designed and implemented critical data sharing exchanges and repositories in support of public safety and homeland security.  These solutions are responsible for identifying and neutralizing life-threatening threats domestically.     Mr. Phillips is the Founder of the Chicago Chapter of the Data Administration Management Association (DAMA).  Mike was also on the founding board of DAMA International. Mr. Phiilips is a Co-Chair for the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Stale Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) Tiger Team that works directly with government and industry leaders providing guidance and mentoring to expedite standards and methods for data sharing.    Mike advises international government entities on the translation and adoption of NIEM and how information can be shared across national borders.
