Karin Montejo

Karin Montejo is a retired Division Chief with the Miami-Dade Police Department and President of Montejo Consulting, Inc. Karin has provided leadership and communication training to men and women in law enforcement throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Uzbekistan. Karin earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida, Master of Science in Public Administration from St. Thomas University and her Ph.D. in Global Leadership with a specialization in corporate and organizational management from Lynn University. She has published her dissertation on “Success Factors of Women Who Have Achieved Positions of Command in Law Enforcement.

Chief Montejo is an active member of the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE) and is the Contributing Project Manager for Gender Intelligence Research for NAWLEE.
