Jennifer Heisig is a Bureau Chief in the Victim Services Division of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and has been with the agency since 1998. Jennifer has held various positions in the division over her 22 years with the office, including Victim Services Division Chief. Prior to working with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Jennifer worked as a counselor at a long-term girls’ shelter in Colorado and as a crisis responder with the Phoenix Police Department. Jennifer was instrumental in establishing the country’s first Peer Support Team in a prosecutorial agency. She currently co-leads the program and provides supportive services to fellow employees, assisting them in coping with and managing stressful aspects of prosecuting criminal cases. Jennifer has also been involved with the Arizona Child Abduction Response Team, Arizona Victim Assistance Academy, Arizona Crisis Response Team and Arizona Coalition of Victim Services.
