Greg Goreck

Captain Greg Goreck started working for Polk County Sheriff’s Office 25 years ago. During his tenure, he has served in Patrol, K-9, Investigations, Special Operations, Traffic Homicide, and Honor Guard. He has been awarded the Deputy Sheriff of the Year and the Meritorious Service Medal by the PCSO, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by Rotary International, and the Kreml Leadership Award from Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. Captain Goreck is currently the commander over the Southeast District and is personally involved in the beta testing and implementation of Live911 for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
