The instructors are currently sworn law enforcement at the Mesa Police Department: Assistant Chief Deanna Cantrell and Commander Dave Hagar. During this two part course, they will discuss the dynamics of the competitive nature of the law enforcement profession and why Officers should plan ahead for promotions or transfer processes for specialty positions. It is the intent of this webinar series to provide a comprehensive model to prepare officers for various processes and establish the importance of creating a “personal brand” long before the process starts. The instructors will expand on a number of socio-factors, such as gender roles and how they may be viewed within an organization.
