This webinar will compare specific steps to action improvement, with the mentally beneficial side of debriefing after a critical incident, and will provide a way to blend the two post-incident review methods. We will cover the facets of conducting an informal After Action Review, which helps a small team or group break down what happened, why it happened, and how it could be done differently next time.

Additionally we will discuss Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, which goes beyond the basic action data and is designed to reduce stress in the aftermath of an incident as well as help to rebuild the team and restore cohesion, which will lead to better future performance. The techniques used to manage PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) will be integrated as an essential part of this webinar.
