Christie Estes

As General Counsel & Compliance Director for Quality Correctional Health Care, Christie Estes provides advice, guidance, and representation on all legal matters for the company, including litigation avoidance and defense, risk management, regulatory and statutory compliance. Additionally, she is responsible for training and compliance activities from a risk management and litigation avoidance perspective. Christie has been practicing law for sixteen years. Prior to joining QCHC in 2016, she practiced in Birmingham, Alabama for seven years where she focused on defending correctional healthcare providers in state and federal litigation.  She is a Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). Christie graduated from Samford University and Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, Alabama. She is licensed in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
