The NIBIN Toolkit for Prosecutors is a resource not just for prosecutors, but for investigators, lab personnel, and everyone involved in the successful investigation and prosecution of cases involving the use of the ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN).

We hope you will join us for our next webinar where the author of the NIBIN Toolkit for Prosecutors (former U.S. Attorney Bob Troyer), the founder of the Chattanooga Police Department’s NIBIN program (Sergeant Josh May), and an experienced NIBIN prosecutor will provide attendees with an overview of what NIBIN is and isn’t, discuss how the NIBIN process works, and explain how to use NIBIN leads to achieve successful prosecutions.

The presenters will focus on lessons learned from actual investigations and prosecutions they’ve worked on at both the state and federal levels. They will offer, through those experiences, practical tips on how to create a successful NIBIN partnership between investigators and prosecutors, how to handle discovery and disclosure challenges associated with NIBIN, how to respond to common defense tactics that arise pre-trial and during trial in NIBIN cases, and how to integrate NIBIN evidence with evidence like eTrace that is commonly involved in NIBIN cases.

All attendees will receive a complimentary electronic copy of the recently updated NIBIN Toolkit for Prosecutors courtesy of Forensic Technology A LeadsOnline Company.
